Drawing

Today I made a drawing on my Saturn V.This was for Inquiry.We had to make a sculpture or a drawing i done a drawing because it was easier and i thought it would be fun to. Saturn V is a type of a rocket.It is powerful and strong.Mostly because the engine.The engine had a lot of power.That is how Saturn V is powerful and strong. The engine was about  363 feet tall.

Recordings

Today for ready we had to take a recording of our voice of and aviator.We had to first get in a circle and 1 person ask us something then the other questions.I done jean batten because i think she was tenacious because she wanted to be an aviator so Amy Johnson had been teaching her and when the plane race was about to began and jean batten said to her self she wanted to beat Amy Johnson record and she ended up beating her record. Tencacious  means someone never wants to give up.

Tables Conga

Today I was doing transum. The maths game that I played was tables conga.What was hard was trying to get away from those x's.I had to get away from the x's so I don't die while finding the numbers.I went in 5 this time because I love doing my 5's and I done 5 because it is easy to do.I love doing tables conga.

Today I done my time tables.This was fun because i know my 10 times table really good and it is fun doing my 10 times table.I like playing this game because i can get to know my times tables better and next time I do it I might do it fast.

Information Report

                      Saturn V

intro

The Saturn V was a rocket NASA built to send people to the moon.The Saturn V was a type of rocket called a heavy lift vehicle.That means it is very powerful.It was the most powerful rocket that had ever flown succesfully.

Stages

The Saturn V that launched the skylab and the space station only had 2 stages.This rocket used for apollo missions and had 3 stages.Each stages had burn its engine until it was out of fuel and it would separate from the rocket.

Engine

The engine on the next stage would fire and the rocket would fly of to space. Every part of the rocket is used and then it is discarded when a mission happens.At the time the,The F.1 was the most largest and most powerful liquid-fueled engine ever made.But there's a chance that in the near future, a giant rocket powered by updated F-1 engines might once again thunder into the sky.

This Rocket might be the most powerfulest rocket I have ever found info about because i found info saying The Saturn V remains the largest and most powerful U.S. expendable launch vehicle ever built.

Today I have been working on my writing.Our subject for writing is and information report.We had to get info on a flying object.I choosed a rocket named Saturn V.

Maths-Girls and boys accurcy

Today for maths we had to do a chart with Mr Wong's whole maths group.We had to get the bean bag and bucket and get up into a group of 6.Then we had to measure 2 meters away from the bucket.We had to stand where we measured 2 meters away from the bucket and try to throw the bean bag in the bucket.If you get it in you get a 0 if the bean bag is touching the bucket and it is next to the bucket you get a 1.If it is far from the bucket you have to measure it.Next you have to write your answers in a sheet and then you graph it.

Rocket Experiment

Today I done my inquiry with my group.We had to put some photos on one of the slides.We had to take the photos of our rockets we made the one with the foil on,Our original one and the ones we decorated our selfs. We decorated the wings a bit and changed the shape of it and where it was on the rocket.This was the best rocket because first and it came first because we carefully done it.

Rocket Experiment

Today Me and my Group were working on our bar graph. Before we done this we had to do a activity with Mr Ogilvy.Mr Ogilvy blew up a balloon and sealed it with a clip. Then he got some tape and tied the balloon were the string and the straw with the tape.After that he let the clip go and we watched the the balloon go.We had to see how far it went and wrote it on our sheet.

Jean Batten Writing Must do

Jean batten was born in September 15 1909. She died buy a Dog Attack in her hotel room she flew one of her flights Across the Atlantic Ocean and some people think she was lost while flying around the atlantic ocean. She died at Palma,Majorca and Spain the Sea that she flew over was (Tasman Sea). Her first ever Solo was England to Newland in 1936 and she became an (International Celebrity).

Today me Nyjah and Chavda was working on our Writing must do.We had to write a conclusion on any aviator and we picked Jean Batten.

Measurement

Today i have been doing measurement stuff.We had to get a bucket and a bean bug.We had to measure 2 meters away from the bucket so we could stand were we measured the 2 meters and throw from there. I think me and Nyjah done better than the rest because e took our time and on the graph the lowest ones were the best. Miki came 2nd with Ofa because they were the same length. Hajera came 3rd cause her one was long short like 1/2 way. Nazanin lost because she just threw the bean bag and never took her time like me and Nyjah Nazanin tried her best though.

Today I have been working on my rockets.I had to make a rocket with the parts on it like what it showed on on the first slide.That picture on the first slide had to be copied but we have to make it our slef using shapes.

Today I wrote information on Amelia Earhart.This was easy because Amelia Earhart Is one of my favourite aviator.! info on her is that she flew with somebody and while they were flying they crashed near the edge of the California road they were almost their in till they fell in the ocean and while the police were look for them they could only find scraps of woman's clothes

Jean Batten is one of the aviators of New Zealand. She broke the best record of flying solo’s. She was born on September 15 1909 and Died on November 22nd 1982 in Palma, Majorca, Spain. When she started flying she wanted to write books. Her book she wrote was Alone in the sky and My Life.

Today for writing we had to write a information on our favourite aviator. I choose Jean Batten cause she inspired me when I heard that she broke the best record by soloing flights. We had to write a introduction.

What we had to do is get a ruler,Bean bag and a bucket.We had to put the edge of the ruler near the bucket and mueaser it in till you measured it to 2 meters. then we had to stand 2 meters away from the bucket and throw the bean bag.If we miss we had to meauser how far we messed if we got it in we get 0 which is good

General Knowledge

Today me and Mele were working on our general knowledge.We got the country cook island. I had so much fun doing this.his was fun because I got to explore cook island on my Chromebook and learning about cook island. My favourite part about this was  doing the current leaders.

Measuring

LI: To measure stuff using ruler and a string

Today for Mr Wong's maths group we did measuring. We had to work on worksheet 2. This week we are focusing on measuring. Last time we measured with a ruler and a pencil but this time we are using a string and rulers. For our must do we had to do the friendly island and curly lines. Next time I think I wanna do more measuring, but it was really fun learning how to measure from a cm.

TableMaster

Today I was playing a maths game called table master.Table master is a game on timetables. I done my 10's time table because it is easy.The fastest number I got right was 20 that went with 2 x 10.the slowest answer i got wrong was 70 that went with 7 x 10.The thing that was hard about this was looking for the numbers for my keyboard because it i was probele because i was going to fast so I could get 16 seconds but instead I got 36.

24 Hour Footprint-Cybersmart

\ Today With Ms Sharing We were working on our Cyber smart.on our Cyber smart we were learning on our footprint.We first had to go on Pixlr and make a drawing of and island.when we were done we had to save it.Then we had to make a google drawing and put the background as our island drawing we made.After that we had to go on our History (which is Ctrl H) and see what we have been on yesterday.We had to then find a logo for example a gmail logo and put it anywhere on our island.We also had to find some little steps to walk where we went on yesterday.The thing that was hard was making a island because all the yr 5's could not draw a island but we all tryed. What I thought that was easy was putting on our logos and footsteps.

LI:To solve word problems using addition Today me and Brooklyn were working on our maths.We were doing study ladder for our maths.I got more right than Brooklyn because i got 8 and she got 7.The thing that  was hard was for me and Brooklyn was the part when we had to do study ladder because the  answer was harder than we thought.We got most answers right because we helped each other also counted with our fingers

Today I was working on my writing DLO. The thing that I found hard was seeing were each screenshot had to go. The thing that I found easy was taking the screenshots. My next step is to give more information about what I did.

Basic Subtraction 4

This is my basic subtraction level 4. The thing that I foud hard was 76 - 37 because it was the hightest number from the rest but I got the answer by going 76 - 30 = 47, 47 - 7 = 40, 40 - 10 = 30, 30 + 9 = 39 and there I had my answer. The thing I found easy was 28 - 15 because it was the smallest one to solve that is why I found it easy to do.

Hauora

Today I have been learning about Hauora with Mrs Anderson.I learnt that There is 4 walls on hauora which is Taha Tinana,Taha Wairua,Taha Whanau.Taha Hinegaro.These walls are important to athletes because they have to be fit and healthy if they want to try and get a medle for there cultrue.

Comets

Today Ruapehu was working on comets.We had to get into groups.Then Mr Wong ask us questions,If we answer the question we would get a dice.At the end our group got 6 dice,We had to roll it then add it up to get our points.We got 36 points and cam 2nd place.

Warriors Visit

 Yesterday The warriors cam to visit Panmure Bridge School. We got to do a quiz,Whoever got the right answer would get a prize.The Prizes were a Warriors bottle along with a warriors bag.Great Job To those People who got prizes

Today I was learning to do our place values.We had to do place values so we can learn our plus's faster.A tidy number is a number that ends with a 0 like 10,20,30 or 40.For example 15 + 12,first find the close's tidy number which is 20,from the 12 add 5 over to the 15.The 15 would make 20 which would leave the 12 into a 7 So 20+7=27.

Number Stones

L.I,to read before and after up to 100 000.Today I was playing number stones with Nyjah. Nyjah was the blue and I was the Yellow.I bet Nyjah by 7 of her blue stones and she got 6 of my yellow stones.

L.I, to add numbers by making tidy numbers,Today I was learning about tidy numbers.Tidy Numbers are numbers that end with a 0 like 10,20,30,40. Insted of doing additions I done subtractions.For example 17-8=?,With find the lowest number which is 8 and then add 2 to the 8 which would make 10 and then add another 2 to the 17 which would make 19 add those numbers together which would make 19-10=9.It was hard figuring out the numbers on the basic subtraction 3

Today I learned about tidy numbers for example the numbers ending in 0, like 10, 20, 30, and 40. I had to add numbers together by using tidy numbers. Here is an example:
9 + 3 =?
The closest tidy number is 10. You have to take one away from the 3 and add it to the 9. There is 2 left and the 9 turned to 10 which makes it 10+2=12.
It was hard to make the tidy numbers.

Winter Learning Journey

Today On the winter learning journey I had to make up a sport that the olympics propel can play it has to be something for people like,blind people,deaf people of even people that can't walk or run.So I picked  canoe sprint they can buddy up and the blind people don't need to worry about anything if the fall over the boat because they are buddy up with someone.

The aim sport:Athletes in kayaks must complete a straight 200m course across calm waters in the fastest possible time

3 rules

rule 1:Race categories vary by the number of athletes in the boat, the length of the course, and whether the boat is a canoe or kayak

rule 2:Canoe sprint takes place on a straight course divided in lanes, on calm water. 

rule 3:The distances recognized by the ICF for international races are 200 m, 500 m, and 1000 m

Winter Learning Journey

Imagine that you are sitting in the crowd at the opening ceremonies for the Rio Olympics this August. The ceremony has just started and all of the Olympic athletes are parading around the stadium in their uniforms when all of a sudden… The shot happens everyone (crowds gasp) shouting "go go go (favourite athlete name) you can do this"...Athlete got hurt but never gave up running as fast as they can!!!..until they never made it!!...it's all over sad they lost feeling down thinking of what happen out their feeling embarrassed but said in their mind ("never give up you can do this no mater what happens out their your a winner weather you lose or win)"
