Kiwi Sport

This week for tennis we have been playing rally but with a partner. My partner was Victoria. On one side it was the champion side which only had two lives to try and win. On the other side was the side were partners would try to get 2 points and get to the other side. If you lost on your first try you would go to the back and line up. At the end of the game the champions would vs each other. Me and Victoria vs Jack and Karlos but unfortunately we lost.

Kiwi Sport

Today LS2 has had another great and fun session at Kiwi Sport. We learnt how to play a similar game to the real game. Taniwha got to kick the ball and the kaitiaki got to catch it. We practise this untill we got the hang of it. We then played Golden child but the Ki O Rahi version. This is the game were the kaitiaki protected the Tupu and the taniwha would try hit the Tupu. The Keuma was the group that were running around hitting the Pou.

Kiwi Sport

Today for LS2 it was our first kiwi sport session. Our sport teacher is called Shenise and our sport this term is Ki o Rahi. At first we watched  a video about Ki o Rahi. This game was created after Rahi went to find his wife who had been taken by another tribe. This game was created to solve our problems and gives us peace instead of conflict. We played some activitys that are similar to the actual game so it can give us a better understanding of what this game is about.
