Venn Diagram

Today I have created a Venn Diagram with Carl. This venn diagram shows two different books which is Amulet 1 and Scooby Doo and in the middle shows that comparison the books have in common. I realized that they both are a fiction story. 

Book Measuring

TOday I have created a DLO with Miki working out some maths. We have measured out the Withd, Length and Height of each book. We used our library books to finish this activity. The books we used were called 400 minutes dange, Lemony Snicket and Zeke Meeks.

How to take care of books

Today I have created a DLO with Nyjah about how to take care of books. We made the DLO for younger kids so the can learn how to take care of their owm books. We have wrote in the steps to how to look after it and why we should look after it.

Michel Mulipola

Today was Duffy Assembly. We had a chance to meet a comic book artist named Michel Mulipola. Michel is not only a Comic book artist but also has been Wrestling and he is a Semi-Professional Gamer. He also illustrates School Journals, one of his books are called Frog. This story is a comic inside of a journal. I had a great experience learning about his life. It was fun to know about him and I learnt today that he wrote a story for the WWE.

It's Novel Time

LI: to make connections, summarise, evaluate, and synthesise facts when reading texts over several days.

Today for reading we had to do It's Novel Time again. We done this again because some of us done it wrong. So then we read the same bood for 20 minutes each day. We also done some of the slides once the 20 minutes was over. My partner was Chavda. I like working with chavda but the main thing was we had to do this write and to do what the L.I said.

Raz Kids

LI: To read books from raz kids.

Today for daily 6 I wanted to read more from raz kids. This is because I am on a new level and I don't get to read much from raz kids. For today's book I read All About Chocolate. I found out so many things about chacolate. One thing I found out was that chocolate was made from a tree that is called a cacao tree. Some words that I didn't really know from this book was Fermented,Conching,Solidified and Plantations. Luckily I found out some of the definitions.

Raz Kids

Today for Raz Kids I read a book called Making rice. I learnt osme new information about china while reading this book. I found out that china eat everything with rice and that some Scientist have discoverd that there rice plants have been around for 80,000 years.. Which means china have been eating rice for 80,000 years.There is about 7,000 tyoes of diffrent rice. Rice needs a lot of of water to grow.

Why can't Old men,Old Woman and Pregnant woman fast? / On My Own	Because the Old men and Woman could die easily, Pregnant woman don't need to fast because there baby inside their tummy might die.
Why Does all muslims have to behave well during Ramadan?	Why? Cause they need to take their time and pray so then they can be blessed when they go eat and go school.
What does fast mean?	It means you can't eat for a amount of days

LI: To Practise Inferring

Today for reading we were practising on how to inferr. With Mr Wong we read a book called Ramadan is Coming. This book was about a boy named Obay. He was a muslim. We got aksed questions about the book. I was mostly the one answering the questions. We also had the QAR Bookmark to say what type of question it was. After that we had to make a copy of a T chart. For this we needed to read our whole book Mr wong picked for us ( Ramadan is Coming). We had to think of question and then on the next table we had to write in the proof from the book.
