Today me and Mele have created a Google Slides  about Niue. It was really intersting learning their numbers, colours and more. Fractions - Fraction example video ( Add and Sub )

LI: To add and subtract fractions of the same unit size

Today for maths we learned fractions. What we had to do was we had to get a partner and we had to pick 1 of a fractions. With my partner Fui we choose the tenth fraction anf the quater. We done this 2 times but we had to pick diffrent fractions. We got points and my group came second or first I think.Then we had to get a partner and we got gave a paper to put our our answers in. We ad to look at the T.V and fill in the fractions. Our next task was we had to fraction add and sub with the same denominator. We had to do the answers to the fration and also do the answer in mixed numerals. The mixed numerals was pretty hard but I still managed to finish it of and get all the fraction numeral right. Dor the mixed numerals one we had to try and make at least 1 or more wholes. If they didn;t have a whole then we'd have to skip that one. We didn't have to write one whole if one fraction equaled to a hole number like 4/4. Then our last task was to make a example video on how to add and sub fractions. Mr Wong's math group had to use screencastify. It ws pretty cool using it. I had to remake the video because I kept on messing up but then I started to not mess up and I think on the 6th one I got through without making any mess ups.

Reading Strategy

Today for reading we gathered up all of our reading strategy we done for this year. We have done done QAR and inferring. We had to partner up with someone and try to make our poster or slide interactive. We had to add in all of our info and learning. Then we had to do a video. I worked with Sandra.

My Own 3D Cube

e my own 3D shape with a different capacity
Today for maths we have been making our 3D shape. This took us time. We had to make sure our capatasy was more than 0 and our volume is moe than our capatsy. We had to make our shape big or smail. We could choose any meansuremtn for the size of our cube or shape. Once we finished our shape we had to make an how to video. We had to show how we made the shape. I worked by my self. The place I  done my how to video was at home. I kinda mesed up but at least I had my shape done. My finishing part looked amazing,It was pretty small like my other oneI had made. DOing this video was hard because I had to add iin my words and make sure I made sense and also make sure the words go with the how to video. In the video I hda a lot of messy part and parts I wasn't meant to show for example the word I used * savage*. I just left it there because I didn't want to start again as my cube was finished.

Hauora Video

LI : To create a video about the 4 wall of Hauora

Today for inquiry we had been learning about Hauora. Haora is the 4 walls that make you healthy. We had to make a video that had the 4 walls and how to be healthy. While doing this we added in some fun parts and more. We had to be a group of 4. In my group was Nyjah,Chavda and Fui. We used workspace 3 and the stair way to LS2 for the video. This was very fun doing the video and recording. 

Energy Snack

Today for writing we had to create a video about a made up topic. We had to do this in our own writng groups. We could make up any topic or subject we wanted to. Me and my group ( Elizibeth Demi ) thought of doing a type of food. We thought of Engergy Snack.We got a peice of paper to plan out our engergy snack on there. We had to write the answers to the questions or the understanding of the why we choose this topic. We had to plan out what we had to do. We got to draw a net for the fake bar and more. Once we were done planing we ot ready to do our video. Florence was the traning girl,I Was the talker about the enegry snack, Mojtaba was the bar giver, Aden was the background person and Chvada adn Lukah were the recorder and script line giver. We got some ideas form other Posters,Radios and Tv shows.
