Kiwi Can

This week was another great session back at Kiwi Can. Our theme is Positive Relationships and our topic is Cooperation. Positive Relationship means getting along with other well meaning you are being kind to each other and showing respect to others. Cooperation means always participating and to take risks at things you've never tried before. We learnt how to negotiate. Negotiate means to discuss somethings formally in order to make an agreement with each other. For example if I wanted to draw an icecream but my best friend wanted to draw a person we would need to negotiate with each other untill we've created an agreement. Kiwi Can says " You and me, were a team, we achieve anything! ". Our energizer was A's & B's. To play this game you think of a person to be your A and another person to be your B. Once you have chosen you will need to get closer to your A than your B without them knowing. Our next game was called Magic Shoes. One person in our team will have magic shoes and will try to figure out a way to get each team member to the other side. This is where every needed to collaborate well so then we could figure of great ideas for the magic shoes person to get each person on the other side.

Kiwi Can

This week LS2 has had another great session a Kiwi Can. Our instructors are Mrs Paige and Mr Alabati. Our topic for this term is Positive Communication and our theme is Positive Relationships. Positive Relationships means getting along positively with other people. Positive Communication means talking kindly to other people. We have are learning about our tone of voice. Our tone of voice and show our feelings so if we are angry we have a loud or a angry tone of voice. Kiwi Can says " Talk to me, So you can see, Someone with positivity". We played some games that would show our communication and relationships with others. The first game was called fruit salad. To play this game when the teacher says apple we go left, Pear is right, Banana is forward and watermelon is backwards. Another game we played was called negative and positive role play. This is were we got into a group and we had been given a card that showed our role to play. In the role play we all got given a negative role to play but at the end we did add a solution to the problem.

Kiwi can

This week was our first time back at kiwi can. This year we have new kiwi can leaders, Their names are Mr Alabati and Mrs Paige. Our theme for the term is Positve relationships and Positive Communication. Positive Relationship this means being kind to one another and playing kindly and Positive Communication means talking to one another positivly for example if I was working in a group for a game we would communicate to try and win the goal that has been set. We played a couple of games that would show us how to get along with different people and to communicate well.

Kiwi Can

Today for kiwi can we have been learning about Fairplay & Fairness.But our theme was Positive Relationship.We first played our enegizer. Our enegizer game was fun. WHat we done was we got into a circle and Mr Mat and Mr Latu gave us each a number up to 4. SO if we got our number called out we had to speed walk around the circle back to our spots and stand in a hula hoop before other team mates too. If your the last one standing your out.Our next game was a game where we had to split up. The girls and fraidon were in one team and their was another team of boys. So one group had to get up while the other team pick 3 people to go and tag.We had to tag everyone fast to win. Affonsos team won and  unfortunatly My team lost for 4 minutes.Lastly we done GKQ
