Tables Master

LI: To get faster at answering my timestables.
Today for other I wanted to keep up with my timestables again. So I done tables master. Tables master is a game that speeds up when answering timestables. you have to try to get the answer fast so then you could have a chance to be on the score list. I'm not on it yet but I have been twice.Learning my times tables is really fun.

Today for Can do I wanted to do my main thing Tables conga. This is because I like doing my times tables. The only Times tables I have to learn is my 7's 8's and 9's. For tables conga I done 4 timestables. I done this one because I had to learn it before next week.

Todya for blog commetning I conmeted on Brooklyn's Jean Batten google slides. I thought she done a good job but she had some spelling errors in her work. She should properly check it and change it. Brooklyn done some great researching on her work. One thing I liked about her work is that she didn't copy the words form the links she used to find info, She wrote it in her own words.

Today for kiwi can we learnt about respect.We went through some things we done last term. Kiwi can says R.E.S.P.E.C.T, FInd out what it means to me. We had Mr Malu and Mrs Lilly today. We had to much fun. We learnt about us being Unique or speacial in everyway. We played some games that led to us being unique. One came I liked was when we had to write something noboady knows about us on a peice of paper and everyone had to guess who it was. If you hear your one then you can vote to.

An Apple a day - Raz Kids

LI: To read a bbook from raz kids. 

Today for daily 6 I wanted to do raz kids. I choose this because I've just been upp more levels and I haven't really read that much books. This book called An apple a day was a very intersting. It told be the good food for you and the bad food. It also told be how to be healthy and to drink lots of water. I like this book that I decided to do the quiz. When I done the quiz I only got 2 wrong which meant it had to be a diffrent answer and that I got 8 out of 10 wrong.

Fractions - Fraction example video ( Add and Sub )

LI: To add and subtract fractions of the same unit size

Today for maths we learned fractions. What we had to do was we had to get a partner and we had to pick 1 of a fractions. With my partner Fui we choose the tenth fraction anf the quater. We done this 2 times but we had to pick diffrent fractions. We got points and my group came second or first I think.Then we had to get a partner and we got gave a paper to put our our answers in. We ad to look at the T.V and fill in the fractions. Our next task was we had to fraction add and sub with the same denominator. We had to do the answers to the fration and also do the answer in mixed numerals. The mixed numerals was pretty hard but I still managed to finish it of and get all the fraction numeral right. Dor the mixed numerals one we had to try and make at least 1 or more wholes. If they didn;t have a whole then we'd have to skip that one. We didn't have to write one whole if one fraction equaled to a hole number like 4/4. Then our last task was to make a example video on how to add and sub fractions. Mr Wong's math group had to use screencastify. It ws pretty cool using it. I had to remake the video because I kept on messing up but then I started to not mess up and I think on the 6th one I got through without making any mess ups.

Current Events - Quiz

LI: To summurise and synthesise information
Today for reading we done a lot of easy task.The first task we had to do was Current events. We had to find an artical on Kiwi Kids news and fill the questions that we have been asked. Once we fished that we had to make a quiz. The people that were doing the same artical as us had to share their quiz and think of some questions. The quiz was properly the eaisest to do. When we had finsihed our quiz we could  choose any person to do our quiz. I choose Florecne and Charlize..
