Taniwha - Summer Learning Journey
Today for this acvtivity I am to write wheather I think taniwha's are real or not. I think the are real because rachel did tell use they lived in the waikato river and the VIDEO! that I saw showed the waikato river with large bubbles poping up. No fish could make this so it might of been a taniwha. Another reason I believe this is becuase lots of maoris would tell stories like this just like my maori teacher at school.

Greetings Marieta,
ReplyDeleteI think I said it's real, I agree with you that the river had large bubbles coming out of the water. Great 2 reasons why it's real because it's clear to read your blurb and reasons. Next time remember to say the week, day and activity your on.
Keep it up !
Malo E Lelei Marieta,
ReplyDeleteI love your statement. The image looks clear and beautiful. "AMAZING" I had the same statement as you. I said yes, because there are many videos and articles that talk about the Taniwha. Did you enjoy this task?
Nice!
Kia Ora Marieta,
ReplyDeleteGood points you make!
I wonder what was making those bubbles?
We can never rule the Taniwha out!
Is there any other animal that you think could rival the Taniwha or look like it?
I can't think of one!
Talk to you soon, Marieta!

Hi Marieta,
ReplyDeleteWell done on finishing this Summer Learning Journey activity. I don't think it was a real Taniwha as no one has any evidence of it being alive. I think that a really big fish was probably making the bubbles. Keep up the excellent work Marieta!
Hello Marieta! You have very interesting points to back up your opinion, but I have to disagree with this. I personally don't think that the Taniwha is real since many reasons, but the bubbles in the river do concern me. Maybe it could have been something else, even just a fish. What do you think the ripples in the water were? Keep it up!
