Today Panmure Bridge School has had a special visit from the Rhythm Interactive where " Together we can make a change". Johnny from the Rhythm Interactive had helped us learn the different types of beats we can make on the drums, he taught us that " if we can say it you can drum it!". We followed the rhythm that Johnny had done. His skills were amazing. Johnny had been using a South African drum called the Djembe. A Djembe is a bigger version of the little drums that we had used. Did you know that Djembe means Joy?. LS2 had gotten someone from either room 1 or 6 and helped them play the drums. Coming to the end, Panmure Bridge School played a game where we were to guess the instrument and if we had gotten it right the Rhythm Interaction would donate a Drum to us. At the end of the game we got a total of 7 drums. I think that today was really fun because not only I learnt how to play the drums but I also learnt that " Together we can make a change" and " If we can say it we can drum it". A big thank you to the Rhythm Interactive for taking their time to come and teach Panmure Bridge School how to play the drums. You can visit their site here:
