For today I had to show where my home town was. Rachel told us that we had to add in 3 things that tourist would like about it and 1 thing I like about my home town.1 thing a tourist would like about my home town is that it is very quite. The second thing is that everyone communicates well. I like to play at the park and I meet new people. The last thing is that it is very beatiful and tourist would like to take lots off photos. 1 thing I love the most about my home town is that it has lots of shops like 2$ shops and things their is very cheap. So whenever I wanna but stuff I don't actually have to save up to a lot of money just 2$ or 5$. Sometimes I get up to 48$ or 20$.

For today I had to pretend I was in a Coaliation Government. I learnt that voting started back in 1996. I had to choose 2 people to be in the Coaliation Government and why. I would choose Takinoa my Cousin because she makes great decisions and is very smart at things. I would also choose my brother Malo because he also makes great decisions at things and he is very reasonable.

Shake it Off

For today I learn about Zumba.In recent years, many New Zealanders have embraced a new form of exercise called Zumba©. It was developed by a man named Alberto Perez who lives in the country of Columbia. He created Zumba by bringing together many different dance styles including: cumbia, mambo, hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, tango, merengue and mambo. ( Got this info form rachel).I had to click on one of thoose dances learn aboput them and give you 3 facts about them and what country is it origanally from. I choose to do the Salsa. I love how salsa goes. The dress and the style.

1. I learn that the Salsa is a dance that is a mixture of many diffrent dances and music technuiqes.

2. Most slasa dancing is in the USA because of American Latinas there

For today I had to write in things about my hero. My hero could be anyone. My hero would be Jesus Christ. He is my hro because he is the one who died on the cross for us. I have read the bible and I've learnt so many sotries about him. He is trulely the best hero anyone could ask for.

Richie MaCaw

For today I had to watch a trailer. This was a movie about Richie and his life. I had to write down 3 things I never knew about him and what other things would I like to learn about him!. The first thing I learnt about him is that other people says his actually called the greatest of all time. Thats cool I never actually knew that. I also learnt that he want to take the team to other palces that no one has really been to before.The last thing I learnt about him is that when he was small he would also watch the All Blacks. His mom says she can emagine him sitting on the floor like his eyes glued to the t.v.I wish I could learn about what other things he wanted to be before becoming a rugby player.

Selfie time!

For Today I learnt about the rise of the selfie.I leanrt that back in 2000 people started to create the selfie. I had to show a selfie of me doing my favourtie thing. In the photo it shows me playing with slime. I love ot play with slime. Its pokey,slimey and strechy. Other people might think its yuck but I think its cool. If I'm angry I go to the room and play with it. It's like a stress relever for me!.

Money

FOr today I learnt more about the movie Lord Of the RIngs. I learnt that each year starting form 2001 to 2003 they'd shooot a movie. The movie would be 300 million dollers to produce. Thats a lot of money. I had to emagine all that money was gaven to me. I had to think of what I would do with  the money. I would give away 300 each to fondations like the cancer child fondation or the make a wish.Then I'd give some away to people I'd see living on the streets. I'd give 1000 to them to get a home and more.Then give 5k to my family in need like my sister and her family my family and my mums sisters family. With the rest of the money I'd kind spoil my self. I'd use 500 dollers. Then with the rest of the money I hacve I wouldn't know what to do with it next!.

Celebrating

In today's activicty I had to write in what me and my family would do to celebrate something. For a birthday we'd get cakes and anything you'd want to eat my mom would get it such as KFC or maccas. We'd also deco the house or where every were at. For a win we'd just eat anything. We'd go somewhere like the beach and my mom and dad would be proud of us.

You have to pay to play

For today I learnt baout something new. I learnt that back in the days kids had to pay money to go to university and had to pay all their tutorials and more. I had to give my opinon. The government have promised to keep it free untill 2020.I hink this is not a good idea to pay.I think this because its a waste of money and you could use that money for something else like food or your lunch.

For today I had to learn about 1 prime minister. What I had to do was I had to make a template then I had to use google to find info about a prime minister. I could choose out of 4 prime minister.I choose Jenny Shipley.I learnt a lot about her.

Hiking

I learnt that one of the largest national parks in NZ was Tongariro.For today I had to write down 5 items I would bring on a hiking trip. 1. you should bring rain grear and extra clothing,2.Food and water, 3. FIrst aid kit, 4.Map and 5.Anything else you would like to bring.

Scotty Morrison

For today I had to imagine I was Scotty Morrison. Scotty Morrison was the one who interviewed people a lot. I had to think I was him and I could choose anyone to interview. What are some things I'd like to find out. First I'd interview Jospeh Anthonii. I'd like to interview him because he is an amazing slime maker. The Big OE

For  today I had to pretend I was a student back in the 1980's. I had to pretend that I was graduating. I learnt that bazck then when toose who graduate get to go places. SO I had to imagine that I was a student that was graduating and give 3 places I would go and what I'd do their.

1 . I 'd got to hawaii and swim their. I 'd got their because hawaii is a beatiful place and I love how their beaches look amazing. I like how that water is clear and how there is a shack there for drinks and food if your hungry or thursty.




2. USA. I'd like to go USA because there is a lot of youtbe stars their and I'd like to meet one of them. I also would like to go their because they have things that I would want like gummy tounges.










3. I'd like to go to my home country because I'd love to meet more of my familes their like my sister and her family. I'd also love to swim their and learn more about Fiji.

For today I had to finish the sentence. I have done this before. This time I had to carry on Hairy Maclary's story. I hd to make it up though. Heres the story...

Changes

For today I had to make a letter to my Princable. I had to write a letter to him if I wanted to change some things. I did want to change some things. I wanted a 3 week holiday instead of 2. I think that kids theese days work very hard like Alex and Jack. Don't you think we should have a longer break. Here is my letter.

For today I had to give my opinon.What I had to do was tell 2 things on things I like about the 1970s pants and 2 things I don't. 1 thing I like about it is that its very colorful and bright and I like how it looks a bit tight on the top but at the end it is wavey. I don't like how the patterns come in because i think it should be bright colours. I also don't like how to looks tight on the top.

For today I learnt bout Peter Snell. What I had to do was I had to create a Canva. I've used this site before for Haoura. Then I had to watch a video then on my canvda I had to add in a picture,Information on his sport life. I learnt the Peter Snell is a racer and he is a champion. He canme first with most of his races and beat most of his records.

The Beatles

For today what I had to do was find 3 facts about the beatles. I found out that back in the days they actually came to New Zealand to preform. Thats super cool. I love the Beatles because their music is amazing and I think they cooparte really well. I learnt that they were the best selling band in history. Thats amazings. 3 facts that I found was that 1. Over 40 years on, The Beatles’ visit can be seen as the moment that young New Zealand plugged into an international youth culture 2.Nobody could have seen the impact of the tour. 'Beatlemania' had already hit Australia, but locals did not expect New Zealanders to act in the same way and 3. The Beatles' 1964 tour occurred as New Zealand was undergoing a cultural shift.

The Dawn Of Televison

Today for this activicty I had to tell you guys my favourite tele show and more. My favourite tele show is The Thundermans.This tele show is about this superhero family that are not the best. They do some wrong things at the time but still fix it. They say sorry at the end when they knew they've done something wrong. The main characters are Barb,Hank,Pheobe,Max,Nora,Billy and Chole. You can find this tele show on 101-Nickelodeon.

Snail Mail

Fpor this activicty I had to draw a post card. I learnt that many people back in the days used to send letters all the time. They didn't have phones back then to message people. They only used mail to communicate.I thought of adding in summery things to my post card since it is summer and I added in some fake names and address to make is look real.

For week 3 I learnt about names.I learnt that there were to many people in New Zealand back in the days and womans were having to much baby they called it that time baby boom. Meat and Three Vegges

For this activicty I learnt more abou the olden days. I leanr that the woman couldn't work like have jobs they had to stay at home with their child and clean up the house. They were called housewives. When coming to make dinner their was a rule. There had to be one meat and three vegges. I think the rule is smart. I would like to eat this type of 1950's dinner because some people have all meat and meat is fat but wth vegges it is healthy.

For this activicty I had to tell you guys what my favourtie desert it and  a reipe with it. I absolutely love eating Double Sterusal Coffe Cake. It is yum because it has the taste of coffe and nuts. You will need the following

Streusel

Coffee Cake

cups Original Bisquick™ mix

cup milk or water

tablespoons granulated sugar

Method:

  Heat oven to 375°F. Spray bottom and side of 9-inch round cake pan with cooking spray. In small bowl, mix 2/3 cup Bisquick mix, the brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through ingredients in opposite directions), until crumbly; set aside.

  In medium bowl, stir coffee cake ingredients until blended. Spread about 1 cup of the batter in pan. Sprinkle with about 3/4 cup of the streusel. Drop remaining batter over top of streusel; spread carefully over streusel. Sprinkle remaining streusel over top.

  Bake 20 to 24 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 30 minutes before serving. Serve warm or cool.
