New Zealand Sign Language

This week it is NZSL which stands for New Zealand Sign Language. It is a week that we celebrate the language from when it first became an official language in New Zealand. This happened around 2006 and 24.000 people use it everyday. Sign Language week is one of the three main languages in New Zealand, there are Maori, English and Sign Language. I have created a DLO that shows information about this week. During this learning I have learnt many phrases, ways to talk to people and even how to spell my name. Many countries around the world don't use sign language like New Zealand. Every country has its own unique way to use sign language with each other.
