FFI - Summer Learning Journey

Today for this activity I have learnt that in NZ there is a comapny called Fauna & Flora International where they work with other companiesaround the world to look after our animals. I am to find a project that they are working on and tell why I choose it. I choose to do the Cambodia and Marine Enviorment Project becausse I love loooking at the beautiful water and animals in the water like fish. Another Reason why I choose this project if because I hardly see many fishes in water.

  1. Greetings Marieta,
I agree but I haven't seen fish in the water, I mean where they live and where they swim. My site was a man and his crew saving dangerous animals. If you could choose another site which one would you choose?

    Keep it up!

Great choice of project. I am sure that I chose a different project. I enjoyed reading about your project. I even enjoyed learning about it. Nice image, but remember to give credit to the author. Did you enjoy this task?

  4. Hi Marieta,
Well done on finishing this activity. You have done a great job. It's great that companies like Fauna and Flora are helping to like after our animals. They are very important to us and provide us with things like food, wool, fertilizer and many other things. Keep up the excellent work.

  5. Kia ora Marieta,

Georgia E here again from Kaikohekohe (Northland) cluster! The Summer Learning Journey is coming to an end on Friday the 25th of January at 12pm, that’s tomorrow! Don’t forget that you can get extra points by posting meaningful, thoughtful and positive comments!

You have picked a really interesting project! Isn’t it awesome how Fauna & Flora International (FFI) are looking after our wildlife, imagine if they didn’t take on this big responsibility? There would be a lot of endangered animals. Yes it is important to see the beautiful water and animals!
Can you tell me some ideas that Fauna & Flora had to help this project succeed?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Blog you later!
    Georgia E

  6. Hello Marieta! I really enjoyed hearing why you chose the Cambodia and Marine Environment as your favourite project. Like you, I also love the ocean waters and it would be a great to hear that it's clean and safe for fishes. What is your favourite type of fish? Keep it up!
