Sadly the Summer Learning Journey has come to an end. I had fun doing all the different activities and learning new things through out the activities. I learned a lot of new things like World Wild Fund helps our animals. It really surprised me on how countdown stopped using plastic because I usually go to Pak n Save. I am really sad to say goodbye to the Summer Learning Journey because its been a great experience. Through out these activities there is lots of things me and my family need to do to save the environment like using less plastic and looking after our nature. Of course and big thank you to Rachel and her team for creating this wonderful event. This event will definitely help me through my reading and writing.

ReplyDeleteI have just returned from my holiday and have had a look through your SLJ activities. What a fantastic amount of work you have done! Which was your favourite activity? Looking at your reflection your response I agree that there are lots of things that we can all do to look after our environment. I think its great that the shops are asking us all to bring our own bags to reduce the amount of plastic bags being thrown in the rubbish as these take such a long time to break down when put into landfill. I have been in Hawaii and all of the shops are doing the same thing. If you want a bag from a shop you have to pay extra. Great work Marieta and I agree completely this will most definitely help you with your literacy this year :)
