Restricted Access - Summer Learning Journey

Today I am to write my thoughts on the Machu Picchu. This is a mountain in Peru South America and only a amount of vistiers are allowed up there. I don't think this is a good idea because other people might not have enough time to wait like tourist they might of booked there plane early that they cant even get through the mountain. Everyone should have this chance because it is a beautiful place to explore and people might of took a amount of time just to get there.

  1. Hello Marieta! I am glad to see that you have finished every activity and I am able scroll through you blog seeing what you have been up to with the Summer Learning Journey. You have good reasons of why you think people should be able to visit Machu Picchu. I agree and disagree at the same time. It did used to look like a beautiful place but isn't as vibrant anymore which is unfortunate. Would you visit Machu Picchu? Keep it up!

  2. Greetings Marieta,
This place is really beautiful but as you look at the other photo the mountain is destroyed and doesn't look beautiful anymore. Next time you could do a comparison of what it looks like when it's destroy and when it looks beautiful. I like the background because the mountains around it is making a circle that you can bearly see and in the middle their is a small mountain.

    Keep it up!

  3. Malo E Lelei Marieta,

Nice statement about your idea. I know right tourists must of booked a plane and when they arrived to Machu Picchu it was closed. The image looks beautiful and clear. Next time remember to attribute the image. Would you visit Machu Picchu?

    Nice One!

  4. Hi Marietta,

I like your thoughts on this! I hadn't thought about the fact that tourists may need to catch their plane and have a tight schedule. I hope they found out well ahead that they might not be able to visit the site! It's a fine balance I think between keeping the site beautiful and allowing the public to visit when they want to. I guess that's what the Government there has to plan.
Would you go there one day if you had the chance?

Well done on your amazing work on the journey!

  5. Hi Marieta,
Well done on finishing this Summer Learning Journey activity. I kind of disagree with you because even though they are limiting the amount of people that can go to Machu Picchu, they are trying to keep it beautiful for as long as possible. Keep up the amazing work.
