Tessellations

This week for maths we have been learning about tessellations. Tessellations is when a flat surface, like a piece of paper, is covered with repeating geometric shapes. For this task we were tessellating shapes but we were allowed to only use one shape to tessellate. This challenge was hard because there must be no gaps in between the shapes. Gaps were only allowed on the outside. I choose second to last shape which was the L looking one. I found this also fun because we got to make the shape we choose any colour at all.
