Here to stay - Summer Learning Journey
Today I am on day 5. I am nearly close to the last week of the Summer Learning Journey. Here I have learnt 3 things on how humans can pollute the air. It was very intersting finding out these facts. Here are the facts that satisfied me the most:
1. Some air pollutants come from natural sources like eruptions, fires or allergens but they are maily caused by humans
2. Climate changes can produce pollution in our air for example the climate change creates higher temperatures
3. Smog is a type of air pollution, Smog is not good for you

Greetings Marieta,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great blog post from you. I love the image too. By the looks of it you sure have been learning lots. I watched the video again and it is very inspiring to watch. Did you enjoy the task?
Nice!
Hi Marieta,
ReplyDeleteWell done on finishing this Summer Learning Journey activity. It's sad to hear that some places in the world have air pollution like smog as it effects the well being of all of the people living there. Do you know how to get rid of air pollution? Keep up the excellent work.
Hello Marieta! I can tell you were listening very closely on the video by the facts you provided. I was able to find out a lot more about natural pollution myself during thing activity. Have you ever caused pollution without knowing it? Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteKia Ora Marietta,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Araura and I am from Wesley Primary School.
First of all congratulations on your amazing post.
It is sad and terrible to hear that places around the world have been infected with pollution/Smog. I like how you decided to added a link to the video you watched and also I like how you added a image.
Anyway keep up the good work.
Blog you later Bye 😀
Hi Marieta!
ReplyDeleteGreat job with sharing some of the information you learnt. This was great for me to read and learn about different pollutents we have.
These are some really interesting things you have learnt from the video...It's also really sad in my opinion.
I think it's horrible that human activity is the main cause of pollution and there's not enough happening to reduce it!
Have you talked much about pollution in school?
I am sure you would know of some great initiatives to help reduce pollution and the production of greenhouse gases?
I was having a look into different things I could do to help reduce what I could be contributing to pollution and I came across this video about waste which I thought was pretty cool:

Do you think we could do this is New Zealand one day?
I am sure it would take a while but could be pretty cool way to make people far moer aware of their waste! :)
Nga mihi,
Ellee :)
