Today I have written and acrostic poem about the Southern Lights or the Aurora Lights. I have never been to the Aurora Lights but it would be such a beautiful light to watch. The word is LIGHTS. Here is the peom:
L - Lovely view
I - Icy Breeze
G - Getting together
H - Having fun
T - Times ticking
S - Such a time
Hello Marieta, my name is Billy and I am from the Summer Learning Journey programme. Thank you for creating this beautiful acrostic poem. You've used some lovely language. I particularly like 'icy breeze' because it does look cold!
ReplyDelete'Times ticking' is another cool one because you've used alliteration, repeating that 't' sound.
How is your summer going? Did you have a good start to your new year?
I was trying to think of an acrostic poem for 'new year', but I could only come up with a few of the letters. Would you be able to help me out with the rest?
N
E
W
Y
E excitement
A adventure
R really loud party people!
Thanks, Billy.
Hi Billy, Thank you for your nice comment. Maybe for N - New time, E - Everyone Celebrating, W - Wind blowing and for Y - You are happy!. Thank you,

Hi Marieta,
ReplyDeleteNice poem. The image looks nice, colourful, and clear. My favourite sentence is Lovely View, because your basically viewing the best thing. Icy breeze relates to a cold season. By the way Happy New Year! Did you enjoy this task? Why?
Nice!
Greetings Marieta!
ReplyDeleteThat image looks beautiful! The words that you used for Lights are good. My favorite one you did is Time is ticking which goes with the letter t.
Which one do you like the best that is in LIGHTS?
Keep it up Marieta!

Hi Marieta,
ReplyDeleteWell done on finishing this Summer Learning Journey activity. I think that your acrostic poem is great. I would also like to see the Southern lights or the Aurora lights as they look amazing. Keep up the awesome work.
Hello Marieta! I loved your creative acrostic poem. The Northern lights look absolutely beautiful in pictures and I'm sure they look better in real life. I like how each connection relates to what would be happening. It would definitely be a time to get together to watch the sky shine. Who would you go with to view the lights? Keep it up!
